Anyone know where to get plans for a do it yourself trailer? A search of the forums didn't find any threads on this. I want a trailer, but cant see paying $300-400 for something to be used for commuting. Thanks.

Look at pictures of BOB and other trailers to see how they've done it and then draw your own plans. If there is a store that stocks them, you could even measure one out.

Design wise the only real problem is the hitch and arm. I was tempted to self build but ended up buying a cheap cargo trailer (around £100 sterling) that's not wonderfully constructed but suits my needs.

Yak, the people who make the B.O.B. trailer, sell the qr axle and yoke as seperate pieces, I think they wanted around $60.00 for both of them. Look up their web site.
