I think I've fallen in love with the cargo bike. I test rode a bakfiet at Clever Cycles and have been reading about them ever since. I've looked at the Long Haul by Human Powered Machines, but I need a long box and rain/weather protection like the bakfiet from Clever Cycles.

Soooo, Show me your cargo bike pictures. I like the two wheeled variety, but I'll look at all of them. I really like the ones with the box in front and positioned lower down in the frame.

This works for me.

I like the fact that having a shorter front end allows for quicker steering vs the front-cargo style bikes....

That's not bad. Is it home made? If I have to, I'll consider an extracycle, but I want my two little guys in front where I can keep an eye on them. The Longjohns are what I think will work for me. I'll have to sell my motorcycle, but I think the boys are worth it.

I haven't built the cargo racks for this one yet. It will be like an xtracycle on steroids.....

Great looking bikes !

(one more note about the simplicity of a rear-loading carbo bike is that the steering mechanism is greatly simplified.).
