Looked for an old thread but didn't see anything specific... may be moving to Seattle because of work... wondering if I could get some local insight into the road racing scene... I'm a working stiff masters cat 3...

I'm not a racer, but I'd think that starting at the Cascade Bicycle Club site would point you in the right direction. http://www.cascade.org/Home/

Moving from the Mistake by the Lake to the Emerald City? That's quite a jump up the ladder - I hope you find your way here...it's an amazing town.

You'll find a fairly rich road racing scene in the Seatte/Puget sound area.

You can race almost every weekend and several times during the work week from March-September, and longer if you do cyclocross.

Check out pazzovelo and WSBA for good calendars.

Then there was this guy i met on Alaskan Way this morning. It wasn't sanctioned, but I think we both hit it pretty hard. We had to slow down for the cars :).
