My wife just called. She's been at the Dr's office today getting an X-Ray or MRI (She used both terms, so I don't know what she's been having done). She was in a great deal of pain this past weekend and was throwing up Saturday morning. I kept trying to get her to see the Dr. on Saturday but she would not go. I was afraid she had a kidney infection, but it turns out its a kidney stone and a very small one at that. The Dr. gave her an Rx for Vicodin and told her to drink lots of water...that the stone has almost passed. I'm very relieved that its not more serious.
Vikes FTW!!!
Hope it passes quickly. People say they're no fun.

Vicodin. I got hooked on them after my hand surgery. Be careful.
You might want to hand a few out to us just so she doesn't get to use to having a lot of them around.
I swap her for some Duladid, we can do a side by side comparison. :)

Shouldn't be a problem...she'll only take a pill when its an absolute necessity. I had to argue with her just to get her to take a motrin on Saturday, and she was practically in tears from the pain. But with anyone else, I'd probably do what you are suggesting. Thanks for the advice.

BTW. I'm glad she's OK.
My wife had two hooked to her insides and she was in the hospital for days. She was in some real bad pain I tell ya.
I manned up when I had one. Peed it out in the ER and went home. Well, I did cry like a baby before that.

I'll be glad to take that off your hands....but I aint shipping vics through the mail. Not in the mood to be a wife to some guy 2x my size in the big house.
I heard somewhere that if your spouse buys a new road bike, your kidney stones pass quicker.

I think we're all glad to hear that it's nothing worse--not that having kidney stones is much fun. She does need to make certain that she continues to keep her system flushed out--apparently once you've had one, you're likely to have them again  !
