I'll start.
My shoulder hurts. I want to go ride my bike. I'm bored. Alison just got kicked off a rerun of America's Next Top Model.
Ahhh....that feels better. :p
It's going to rain all week. That's my only complaint.

I'm stuck here working while others are enjoying MLK day off. I'm stuck in the same position for the past 9 years, and every attempt to get out of this department has fizzled. The Kings are in the cellar. The dodgers haven't won the whole thing since '88.
Is that enough?

One good reason and one wimpy excuse not to ride to work this week.

I am wheezy. I am heavier than i was this time last year. The rain is going to f-up morning riding this week. The Pie Ride is likely to be rained or frozen out. My office has descended further down a rabbit hole of Dilbertesque tragicomedy than I thought possible.

I wanna ride my bike, I'm missing the first two races I signed up for due to injury, and on the trainer today the most I could sustain for 10 second intervals was 819 watts.
I hope that I'll heal enough in 3 weeks to get to ride outdoors again. :(

I used to eat ALOT ALOT more before I crashed my BMX and was in ICU for a week due to internal bleeding from my spline. Before I went into ICU I was 155lbs and can put a real hurt on buffet owners, like 6-8......
A year n half after my crash I went 155 to 245lbs before I bought my 1st roadie, been at 190-195 since I dropped that weight. Doesn't change, doesn't matter how little or much I ride or what I eat, it's always the same....I've came to terms with my weight not changing, so last fall I changed my training/riding style from trying to loss weight to get faster to making more power to get faster. Everyone just has different metabolism rates

You will, John. :o You know what I just did? I took a shower and then I forced my hurt arm/shoulder up into a position where it hurt like hell, but I could put the towel behind my back to dry off (try drying off with just one arm - sucks!). Yes, I feel like throwing up right now, but my shoulder is definitely looser and oddly enough feels better! :D

 No, I already know that the feeling as if I'm going to vomit is my body's way of pushing through the pain. I wouldn't necessarily suggest it, and once I felt the bile in the back of my throat rise, I stopped.
The Dr. suggested I do what I'm doing (only she did say to stop if it hurt too badly). I'm just one of those weird people who has a high threshold of pain. So, I can handle it.
But she didn't suggest ice or heat oddly enough.

Okay, something I'll whine about (even though I loathe whining):
I'm not 30 yet, and I get flak for it. I can't wait until I'm 30.
Also, people who declare themselves as "old" or "ancient" when they're in the low to mid 30's. People should get the f*ck over their personal issues and consider it as a high-score, not a fault. That is all I'll "whine" about. But, really? I shouldn't even be whining about that.
Anything else that I may whine about I shouldn't whine about, and I'd rather spend the time addressing the problem rather than complaining about the situation. Most people in our society - particularly EVERYONE here on this forum - is living a very privileged and fortunate life comparatively to 95% of the world. Heck, you don't even have to compare to the rest of the world!! Some people here complain about their body fitness, while the majority of people in this country are grossly overweight (both meanings of the word there). There are people in this country who have trouble breathing, let alone getting on a bike. There are people in this country who can't even read or have poor education. Some people have no families, no parents, or have dangerous addictions which have destroyed their lives. That's just within the United States, and only the 'upper crust' of the problems people face - and those people are still more privileged than probably 90% of the world's populations.
Seriously people, stop whining and get into gear.
That is all. :D

I think you're thinking that my comment was to a particular person - it wasn't. I get the same 'answer' from so many people, regardless of sex or relationship, that it's getting very old (no pun intended)... I hear that sh*t from friends, I hear it from neighbors, I hear it from people I'm dating.
All being said, the ones who have gotten over their personal 'age' issues are among the people I've admired and looked towards in life. :D

Well, here's the thing. People probably tease you because they know it bugs you...I do. :p It's fun and way too easy. Besides, there is nothing wrong with being 28 years old. Enjoy it, man. I'd love to be 28 again, and no, I don't think I'm old. But I realize that I'm not 28 anymore! I'm 37! Age is in your mind...to a degree. Then, it isn't in your mind anymore. So, take it in stride and enjoy your 20s. 30 will come soon enough. ;)

I hope you aren't thinking that it's going to stop... because it doesn't. No matter how old you are, there will always be people younger than you, and people older than you, and both groups will always give you sh*t for being the age you are. Oh, and whatever you do, do not marry someone 14 years younger than you.

Some helpful nurturing thoughts:
1. It may be all you.
2. Your vintage King Crimson " 21st Century Schizoid Man" t-shirt is extremely cool and everything, but it's probably not the best thing for job interviews.
3. The market for day spa reviewers is really tight. You may need to broaden your search.
