What you made is awesome. Weight weenies will cringe but that rack will hold some serious cargo! Nice rack and nice job documenting the process.

I would make a nasty comment about weight weenies...but I am trying to play nice...time to take my fully loaded Raleigh Superbe down to the LBS again and let them put it on the scale in front of all the roadies I passed on the way in;):D
