Looks pretty similar to last year's. I'm not impressed. Where's the black with the big globe and green accents?
it's OK. for some reason it reminds me of the 2000 USPS kit.

Not as bad as last year. They seem to have toned down the neon baby blue a bit.

It makes them look thinner than they really are.
I foresee high sales numbers for the 1st quarter.

It's well-designed, and gets the job done, but it's not over-the-top like most other pro kits are. That's not to say that I really like it, 'cause I don't, but I guess they could've done worse.

Arches and block print. Sort of a central Asian socialist modernism?

if they only paid a little attention to rodchenko, then maybe they'd be on to something.

It has been mentioned earlier (either here on BikeForums or elsewhere), but the most successful portion of this kit is the application of the team name & primary sponsor along the back of the body. When the riders are in tuck, or the camera is a scooter-mounted kinda such as in the TdF, the sponsor's name will still be legible.

If they'd get rid of the powder blue, I'd like it.

Don't mean to be an ass, but the helmets Discovery used didn't have yellow straps:

no.
You missed the joke ;).
But yes, 20s soviet poster art would make for an awesome jersey. Just don't call Rodchenko a modernist or he'll get sent to the gulag.
Hi,
Looks like last year's kit for a local club:

Doesn't matter to me why the colors are there. Of course I probably wouldn't buy it, even it the colors weren't hideous.

It's not like the cameras can't already see the "Astana" on the rib - they had to go and put it again on the back

The podium shot looks like they're all wearing little aprons. Kinda like last year's Saunier-Duval merkins.
Hmm - maybe the designers have all seen that Polish National Team photo once too often?
yes.

Yeah, I think the US one is a lot better
Something about that Luxembourg one I don't like. Frank Schleck's looked better, IMO.

That was supposed to be sarcasm...its hideous. So is the national team jersey.

that photo of George H, he needs some cinelli tri colour bar wrap to really complete the fugly thing.
The astana kit looks like they have a backpack on, or are all wearing gillets.

Here’s a photo gallery by VeloNews of the Astana training camp (http://beta.velonews.com/photo/gallery/71673). For you equipment junkies there are a few close-up shots of the new bikes with the SRAM groupo.

leipheimer has a nike cap on, contador has an etxe ondo cap on, but the logo on the shorts looks like a trke logo.

I heard that this year trek is taking over where nike left off in terms of their clothing etc. so I'm guessing it's trek by the time Paris-Nice comes about.
