Well I have been enjoying a couple of months of strong cycling and now just as our 24 hour race approaches I feel I am dropping into a slump.
2 weeks ago I saw one day where I actually performed a new personal best pulling my daughter in her chariot but since that day even my recovery rides have seemed to be laborous. My next workout day was a joke performance wise and I am not feeling like doing a slow ride today at all. My next hard day should be wednesday so I will try to rest today and spin easy tomorrow.
It always seems to statr this way. An initial drop in energy/power and then a struggle to stay motivated and focused.
It really sucks that is is just three weeks from the only event I need top form for this year.
I think the upcoming century I was planning is going to get bypassed for some easy riding.
Anyone had any luck finding a way to rebound from this type of thing quickly?
