Foo - the why are you single thread

I'll start. I like 'em somewhat liberal but not too hippy or flaky.
I like 'em smart but not made too cruel or impatient
by their intelligence. I like irreverence and not taking
oneself seriously except when it is worth taking seriously.
I appreciate that everyone has been through something but
I am not here to heal anyone nor do I ask this of others.
So much to ask for? Must be. I keep finding people that
1) want someone to heal them, 2) are into really esoteric
weird stuff, 3) are smart and impatient with the rest of the world.
Not all together, but those three seem to sum um the kinds of people
I end up finding in the dating world . Is this the universe, just pick one?

My roommate is my younger brother, so my house is not the ideal dating environment. :p
I'm too poor to date much:D

I like riding my bicycles and motorcycles in the summer and skiing in the winter...it's not easy to find a woman who likes those things.;)

But seriously, the only way to not be single and find a mate, if that is your goal, is to be more open and accepting of another person's personality, quirks and flaws. I used to only go for 6 foot blondes. But being 5'6" tall made for some really disappointing nights in the clubs.;)

Because honestly my voices make for much better conversation than my ex ever did. She couldn't even hear when they were talking to hear, she wud just ignore them. What an self absorbed *****?.. I call her tonit and she didn't even call back at all.. no. I mean, who else would be calling her and hung up like that..? Just cuz I haven't done it in like over two months - doesn't mean that she cant be able to guess. yeah it was me. And yet no return call. women.. no, just plain wo. freakin wo.

Anyway--props to you man. I've enjoyed a spell or two
of that kind of thing but fortunately it passed. I think
having to try made me a better person.

A comment and a question for you. First, I don't think you're looking in the right places. Secondly, exactly what do you consider "esoteric" and "weird"?
