I happen to come across this interesting article through my other pass time.

Anyone think it will work?

Yes it will work, but will it have a utilitarian purpose?

We may not be the only ones, Bill (Nosra451) is also a woodworker. Talk about two money and time consuming hobbies.

I'm a carpenter does that qualify? I've heard of bambo frames but this kids bike is amazing. Good for him.

Let's take a moment to talk shop safety. Knowing how to use your power tools properly will greatly reduce the risk of personal injury. And remember this; there is no more important safety rule than to wear these.... safety glasses.

Norm is the man and yes I have that memorized. I really enjoy woodturning but I am latheless at the moment.

He is, and even my daughter has that memorized!

I just gave away an old Atlas/Crapsman metal working lathe. But a wood lathe...that's the one tool I don't really want, don't ask my why, because I don't know. Anyway, I don't have the room...relegated to a one car garage.:(

Here's a table I just made out of cherry, with a had from a defunked woodworking forum.
