Finally managed to process some shots from the World Cup on Saturday. Here's one:

I was only able to shoot a few of the timed events as I was doing the official's video (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=380992) for many of the massed start events and the Keirin heats.

Who makes those cool helmets some of the riders were using? They didnt look like road cycling helmets and they wern't the big TT aero helmets either. Just a very close fitting shell covering the ears and the top and back of the head.

Nice pictures, Cleave. I saw some of the riders on 190th the other day. I thought they were the Hungarians, but I can see now from your photo it was the Spaniards. I got behind them in my car and saw them going fairly easily, talking to one another. I looked down at my car's spedometer... 33mph! :eek:

They must have had some tailwind, but looking at the size of their quads, maybe not.

Here a couple of pictures from the men's Madison race Sunday night. It was great watching all these teams riding around the track at the same time, and to watch the two teammates slinging one another forward. You could see how different tactics entered into the race.
