I've been riding my bike for awhile on 46/18 grown to it fairly quick so im no riding 46/17 its been a week, and im getting use to it and getting close to spinning out when i ride fast(I live in miami so its alllll flat). Still I want to keep it if im just going to cruise abd crap. I have a formula flipflop and i've never used the freewheel is the thread any different? Can the freewheel side supoprt another cog and lock ring?

I've never taken it apart but i'd really like NOT to unless im goint to install something. It seems like the freewheel side is just one big thread, but what do i know?

Thanks in advance. This forum has been a great help when it comes to fixing a bike

Most Formula hubs are fixed/free, meaning that there isn't a step down thread for the lockring on the other side. You could potentially suicide it, but I wouldn't if I were in your shoes.

Thank you! I guess ill invest in a nice chain whip and lock ring tool.
