Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Fallen off my bike every day this week so far :/

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
So on monday i was riding down to meet up with a friend, and about 4 miles into my ride my pant leg gets caught in my chainring :( I had my pant leg folded up, but i guess my pants started to fall off my hips a little and like the big folded chunk of pant flew into my chainring and i did a front flip off my bike. Luckily there were no cars behind me b/c i landed in the middle of the street and i couldn't get up b/c my leg was somehow tangled between the crank and the pedal.
Tuesday, about 30 feet from my house I'm making a turn onto the same main street fairly fast so i'm leaning into the turn, and a bottle of water rolls into my path in the middle of my turn. I couldn't react fast enough and normally these water bottles would just flatten or roll out of the way on impact, but this one was frozen solid so it was kind of like hitting a rock. Lost control of my bars and once again went flying into the middle of the street.
Today was just kind of ********, i pulled into the driveway of my house to get into the back door, and when i was dismounting my bike, my foot steps onto black ice and as i go to lift my other foot over the bike, i just bust my ass right in front of my door.
Hopefully tomorrow ends this cycle of dying.

this is always scary when it happens, even when the bottle is not frozen; there was one time when i was descending a big hill on my road bike and the old ass water bottle cage sheered off the bolts and its bits went on a sherman's march to the sea (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sherman's_March_to_the_Sea) -esq path through my drivetrain and under my rear wheel messing up lotsa crap... theres that brief moment in between the jetisoning of the water bottle and the metaphorical/and or actual ****ting of the pants which in my case is usually filled with a "..oh thats not right at all..."

been snowing at least 3-4 inches everday here, so my bike isnt getting much use. we dont salt here because we are on a tiny strip of land between two freshwater lakes.
if this keeps up i might give up and buy cyclocross tires

^^^Just buy studded tyres.
In Helsinki we don't salt either, and the snow - well, we HAVE snow mmmkay? and yet people still haul asses around on cycles. No drama.
i was riding this pretty narrow footpath with some kids, when everyone noticed black ice. i wasn't paying enough attention, and in a moment of panic i pulled my front brake. that led to an endo and a vault over my bars. i think i landed on my feet. don't really remember. i still have no idea how i got my feet out of my clips so easily.
since getting the brake, i've found i rely on it too much. it's such an easy thing to use, though it doesn't always yield the best results.

I can't get within 10 feet of my bike without eating massive ****. At least that means I'm not sandbagging, I guess.

get some tight skinny jeans so they don't get caught... or else sell the bike and get a scooter.

Congrats- you have my sympathy. When I read the title of your post, I thought every fall might
be OTB while attempting skids. At least you fell down for real reasons.
