Been reading the forum for a while, so I'll finally register. I'm a 48 year old road cyclist. Raced when I was "young" and continue to love to ride as much as possible. Cycling is my exercise of choice and time to myself in my head. I love to ride uphill the most! Here in Boulder Utah we have only 3 road rides, but all are world class, beautiful, challenging rides. My favorite ride is up Boulder Mountain where I can leave my driveway and climb for 14 miles and gain 3,300 feet. We are blessed with safe, quiet, scenic roads to ride here. I follow pro road racing on the net every day and on tv when it appears. I'm excited to be going to watch 5 days of the Tour of California next month! Bringing the bike and really looking forward to riding in temperatures above 40 degrees. I'm so sick of riding the trainer!
Feel free to email me anytime.
Best wishes,
Fausto

Thanks for signing up Fausto. Welcome to the board. Sounds like you're pretty jazzed on racing, but give the rest of the boards a try too. You'll find some great people, and opinions and experts on everything related! At least I did. :D

Hi Fausto, I am surprised you are not equally jazzed about mountain bike riding in your location! I haven't been to Boulder itself, but certainly been in the area, and it does indeed look like a great place for road riding too.

Welcome to BF!
