I've been riding five years or so, but I vowed to be more social about it this year. To that end, I'm joing a club in Metrowest Boston, riding my first century and maybe losing a race or two. I keep buying steel Bianchis (a 99 Eros and an 05 Veloce), plus a Milano to get me to the train station and an old Trek 850 XC my neighbor found at a yard sale for $10 (with Rock Shox, no less). I rode in the woods for the first time last fall and I'm sure the wounds will have healed by next season.
