Somebody told me about a bike path in the valley that supposedly runs all the way to Calabasas / Thousand Oaks. Like an actual trail, not just the bike lane on the side of the street. I'm not sure where it picks up and I can't seem to find any info about it. Any 818ers with some 411? Thanks.

Correct. There is one that pretty much runs the length of the orange bus line, which goes from No. Hollywood to Wodland Hills.

So if I wanted to catch it in N. Hollywood, I can find it somewhere near the Orange Line?

I got on that path ( a really nice one, by the way) right near where the Metro Red line train and the Orange line meet in North Hollywood... near Lankershim Blvd and Chandler...if that helps at all.

Good bike lanes exist on Calabasas Rd, and Agoura Rd from Valley Circle to Thousand Oaks. Excepting the upper section of Mureau which connects them. But Calabasas has started a project to widen that section of Mureau to add bike lanes on both sides. Signage indicates completion in the spring of this year.

Wow. This is pretty handy. And probably would've answered my question! :)
