I prefer to use poi the way it was intended - as an adhesive for applying wallpaper. :)

Actually, I think you're on to something. I imagine that poi is nearly all complex carbohydrate. Put it in one of those squeeze bottles that people use for gel and you'd be good to go. It wouldn't have that too-sugary taste that so many commercial gels have. I'd be willing to try it (with some Lomi Salmon and Poke on the side).

It's going to clog up the nozzle! I guess I could puree it first, but that sounds kind of icky.
