Do what you want, but I don't think I can fully support the naming of bicycles.

I haven't named my bikes (....yet), but people tend to refer to their bikes with female pronouns- just wondering if they name them as well.

I think it personalizes them a little.

I named my road bike Gretchin three days after I got it, but I have yet to name my Jamie Roy (probably because the model name is a name already).

"the SS" for my singlespeed. As a Jew, I like the idea of riding the SS.
"Sin-Wagon" for my Orbea, it is fast, and makes me want to break the law.
"Crap-Wagon" my Motobecane-new style- frame bought of craigslist, set up as a single speed, it was supposed to replace "the SS" but it is the worst frame I have ever ridden, so "crap-wagon"

I almost got one from a local police auction that had a black frame with a fluorescent orange evidence sticker on the top tube, I was gonna clear coat over it and just call it "The Evidence".

Would have been interesting if it'd been stolen and I reported it to the cops... "Yeah, someone just took the evidence and I'd like it back."

Ditto. Goes for my car and truck as well except they are modified a bit. The truck is the big black ***** and the car is the little black *****. 'Cause they are black, dig? I don't know my motorbike well enough to give it name yet, but it will probably be the same.
