I have a fairly new cane creek headset... seems to be leaking some grey goop..... should i be concerned? What could of caused this?

its seems like its drowning and leaking out the mouth more than anything...

grease is leaking out. Generally not a problem since it was probably overpacked to begin with.

If it feels loose or tight, take it back to the person who installed it and have them adjust it. Should be free if it's only a few weeks old. Might cost $15. A poorly adjusted headset can destroy itslef quickly and will be at least $50 to replace.
