Bobby and I were chatting about that at the team launch party last Saturday. Great stuff indeed. The one season i raced as junior was with CRC-A Raliegh (I still have my size medium wool jersey in a box somewhere) but on a local club level. Bobby's mother was the manager for the local club. My best friend's mother was dating a bike racer who was good friends with Bobby and thats how i ended up into the fold as we both took it up. My friend had much more sucess, as he went onto National level stuff and I went onto cars, girls and bars. I think he quit entirely after a couple of years and I came back to plug away at it for the last 14 years running. Oh the choices we make....
