Most halogen bike light makers (Niterider, Light & Motion, Exlight, etc.) create housing that support only mr11 bulbs. Are there any out there that support the larger mr16 bulbs?

I know of several DIY projects that use that bulb.

You can do a Google search for "Pond Scum Bicycle Light". I have a pair of those on my rig...

Are there brands/makes that are already made to support mr16 bulbs so you can just plug them to a power source (plug & play per say)? I don't really have the time/hassle to create a diy light housing.

yes there are MR16 lights. www.night-sun.com My wife got me a Team Issue model 19 years ago when they were hand-made in the USA. I still use it. The metal housing allowed me to upgrade to 50 watt bulbs without risk of melting a plastic housing.

Optronics QH-7CC ready made housing, comes with a 50 watt bulb replace with a 20 watt and you're good to go.

So for a fact the Optronics QH-7CC fits MR16 bulbs, right? I'm not interested if it only fits mr11 bulbs. Please let me know, thanks!
