A friend of mine actually threatened me with bodily harm if he ever saw me wearing any Primal clothing.

He was serious too.

Why? Grow a pair and wear what you want to wear! :D

I really just want to know how they wear. Is the stuff well made?

I have no idea, that was my question. Was it because of the name, something they do, or bad quality??????

Some of their designs are beyond cheesy.

Some look okay, but I've never been so moved as to purchase one.

I like to get some, but my chest.........ok and stomach, prevent this from happening right now.

Cheesy or not, there's at least 4 of them that I'd buy today if I could.

Love Primal Wear myself.....check out on Ebay you can get some screaming deals from love2pedal who carries a lot of their stuff. And ships to Canada (which is why I plug him). Just ordered a Star Wars jersey that I can't wait to get it. If you like the style....go for it.

Ditto that. Twin Six is another company with unappealing designs. Aside from the Fat Cyclist jerseys and the discontinued "Cabbie", I've not seen anything from them I'd want on my body.

I was threatened with being "laughed at forever" if I ordered a Discovery kit from Ebay. Also most of my friends said they'd refuse to ride with me if I showed up for a ride wearing Disco stuff.

I don't know about all their designs, but I can appreciate the military jerseys, to show a little support.

I still have several Primal jerseys, they are well made and have that "club fit" for us rounder riders.

Tom, nice bike too!

I've got a couple. High quality construction and materials. Very untypical roadie design that some like, some don't, I think their origins were in mtb. Tend to have more roomie, club type fit. I tend to like some older designs better. They will run a original design for a year or so then retire it. Ebay is a good source and often has retired designs.

I have a Wedgie:

I've always liked them but have never owned one. I have a lot of plain, cheap jerseys from when I first started wearing them (as opposed to plain t-shirts), plus a bunch of souvenir jerseys that I bought when I rode centuries. (I like wearing reminders that I can actually ride 100 miles from time to time.)

None of my jerseys has ever worn out! I can't justify buying more just because they're kind of cool. I haven't even been able to justify buying them cheaply on Ebay. I just have too many jerseys!

I'm always open to purchasing something that speaks to me. However, if I keep riding centuries and other organized rides with souvenir jerseys, I may never buy a Primal one.

What is this "justify" thing of which you speak.......and how can I prevent myself from ever using it in my quest to buy more bicycle stuff?
Who are you and why are you on bike forums if you don't have the disease that is cyclopurchases?

Please leave restraint and panties at the door.

Put a bit more simply. Take your skirt off! :D

Oh my friend. Perhaps you don't have a wife and two children in college. Maybe FAFSA will be better to me this year. :(

I do have the disease, but my domestic bliss :o requires that I resist it from time to time.

My greenhouse/bike workshop speaks for itself. How many bikes do I need? More than I have! (Two for my wife, two each for my two kids who never ride them, five for me. That's hardly enough! ;))

Why spend a bunch of time and money refurbishing a bike that doesn't fit anyone in my family? Because I can!

Why take a bike to a shop for repair when you can buy a tool and do it yourself for 10 times more?

No skirt, no panties, but way too much lycra.:p

I have a Primal Jersey. Too hot for you it's called. It has flames on it and it's pretty darn cool. It has worn well and I enjoy wearing it. Primal has a lot of cool designs. Some don't get them, but they probably ride flatbars anyway. Go figure. I may qualify for being a clydsdale, but I ride it like I stole it! If it's one of my road bikes or one of my bents, I'm going for broke. I may be pushing 50, but I can hold my own with "kids" 20 years my junior. I just love wasting grey hounds on hills. ha. It give me the INCENTIVE to stay in shape. I'm no jock, never have been. If a cool looking jersey helps me float the boat, so be it. Rock on!

So your disease is simply in recession?

Really?! I love the twin six designs... well maybe that's cause I love the girl jerseys... and I am a girl... hehe. Maybe the boy ones aren't as cute. :P

I own several Primal jerseys. Good quality stuff, great customer service. Only place that makes a Led Zeppelin jersey, and I needs my Zeppelin :D Wear what you want; flaunt your Fredness. I do so proudly.
