"The 33"-Road Bike Racing - Is Black the new Baby Blue?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Two years ago it was Milram, Discovery, Gerolsteiner, Quickstep, and Bouygues Telecom working the blue vibe.
Now it seems the "Men in Black" vibe has gone from being a way to avoid doping controls, to being a fashion statement. Typical cyclists, always a tad late with what the current trends are.
OK, I realize that a UK 'pro' team is minor league even compared to a US domestic team, but this is getting a little boring by now.

The high road kit is ridiculous.
Rock racing at least has some style to it and fits their image.

Does this mean my white shoes and white bar tape aren't PRO anymore?

Black and white actually match, believe it or not.

It seems to work really well with rock racing, someone there has style. Isn't team high road supposed to get something a little less plain? I thought those were temporary.

Is this the only team where the jersey costs more than the bike?

apparently the riders receive one jersey as their sole compensation for racing.

That's still better than the pay for many pro cyclists. Not bad.

That puts them in a pretty high tax bracket. Might need to sell off the sleeves.

I presume this still means the banana yellow bar tape I've selected for the year will still be a bit...odd.

geesh, even aham23 knows you should be zipping you jersey up prior to crossing the finish line. sprint or no sprint. later.

I was there spectating, and did think it a little odd that he had his jersey unzipped. Having said that, it was 100+ degrees in the shade ;)
