Hi everyone. I can't believe it's taken me this long do discover this forum. It has become one of my first destinations when I start surfing. I expect it will become fuel for my bicycle obsession. Thanks in advance for the wealth of info I'm sure I will receive.

saddle up - Machka has convinced me that I need to get involved in some of these rides too so perhaps we will all get to meet down the road on a ride.

Not sure what to call the type of riding I do. Gave up driving a car about 4 years ago. I live in the city core so I ride as soon as I walk out my door. I love exploring the city on road bikes, lucky to have one of the best bike path systems in North America. Leave my place and ride as far as I can on back roads/single track on a mountain bike then camp over night night and come back home next day. Exploring/Adventure Cycling perhaps? I just love to ride my bikes!!

Saddle up - I have never ridden much in Cowtown but can appreciate the fact you have the second best trail system in North America and would like to check that out someday.

Well... Edmonton has the largest and best urban park and trail system in North America.
