I'm about 6'5" and I've been losing weight recently. I started around 230 lbs less than two months ago but now I'm just above 200 lbs. I love how supportive and open people are on this forum (as opposed to the road cycling forum ;) ). I'm not writing this to brag or anything, it just looks like I'll be below the 200 lbs range soon. I've seen some postings say over 6 feet is also considered a Clyde, is that true for the purposes of this forum? I know you wouldn't kick me out or anything, I just don't want to feel like a fraud :)

Weight and/or height.
200 and/or over 6'0"
I am 6'3", and have always considered the Clydes as 200 pounds or more, and had nothing to do with height. I hope to get out of the weight class, but I will really have to work hard on my eating habits. Nobody around here would kick you out, and I will probably always feel like a clydesdale.
I'm a 2timer! 6'1 and 245!:D
Does Mrs Beanz know this? ;)I'm a 2timer! 6'1 and 245!:D

You're ours....all ours 4 ever buhaaaaaaa, buhaaaaaaaa
6'3" 255 lbs. Down from 287 lbs. My blood sugars under good control, no medication for diabetes and feeling better. I've started having real problems with one of my legs. I have dislocated both of my kneecaps, my right one about 5 or 6 times and my left one 2 times. I had a blood clot in my right leg 18 years ago and I also ruptured my patellar tendon. I've had 3 knee surgeries on my right leg and now I'm having chronic pain in my leg, poor blood circulation and not able to sit at my desk at work for more than a couple of hours.
Riding my bike makes it feel better. I've got appointments with a neurologist and a vascular surgeon in a couple of weeks. I've got to be careful and not get another DVT!

Well I guess I am in one way or the other:p I have been 6'-2" for 30+ years. But just recently slipped over the 200# mark. I normally run the scales in the 190 range, but slowing down and holiday eating has pushed me up a bit.:o I have always had fits getting bikes and clothes to fit...
Aaron:)
The pumping action of your muscles in the legs while riding helps you avoid blood and plasma pooling and edema and helps you avoid DVT, you'll be very happy to know. :D
