Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
A quick question since I don't have the book available. I remember something about being able to split your training hours of your longest day if you don't have the entire block available. For example, my longest day this week is 3hrs and I wasn't sure if that meant:
- one continuous 3 hr block
- two 1.5 hr blocks (or whatever split) to represent the 3hr block
I'm assuming that if I were to do 2 1.5hr blocks in one day that I wouldn't count those as two of my lower hour workouts. Thank you for clarification.

He says exactly the opposite of what you're thinking on p. 130. "So the long workout for that week is three hours. Do this as a continuous ride-not as two workouts of 1:30 each. The other daily hours may be divided between two workouts in the same day, especially in the Base period when volume is high. In fact, there are some advantages to workout out two times a day, such as an increase in quality for each workout."
Sorry one more Q. I know you supposed to count weightlifting in your training hours but what method do you use to track workload progression? I was going to just use RPE.
