Bianchi Pista '02. Ridden five times. Never crashed. Like new. Upgraded
tires. Two cogs. Frame measurements are 54 cm seat tube and 56.5 cm top
tube. Price $375/offer less pedals.

thanks, FXjohn

It's Bianchi's entry level track bike which means it's a fixed gear. Goes for around $550 new. You could turn it into an SS by simply replacing one of the track cogs w/ a freewheel and adding brakes, IF it's drilled for brakes. I'm pretty sure the fork is, not positive about the frame. Seems like a pretty good street bike, but depends on how you want to use it.

02 bianchi pistas, as riderx said, have forks that are drilled for brakes, but the frame is not drilled for a rear brake. fwiw, i'd keep it fixed, and perhaps throw a front brake on, at least while you get used to fixed gear.

Hi, thanks for replying!
I worded that wrong, I do want a fixed gear bike.
After looking at that link, maybe I will just order a Surley frame brand new and do it right from the begining.

All the feedback I've heard on the Pista is good and the price seems right. Even new, it's hard to beat for the $. That said, I run a fixed Surly Crosscheck and love it. It will cost you more in the end though.
