Introductions - Hello from St. Louis

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hello,
I am joining in the hopes of learning from all of you. I have been riding for 25 years (yes, I am really old!) and really enjoy the solitude and beauty of being on the bike. I ride a juiced up Merlin and go all the time (except when it is below freezing).
I am a marketing consultant specializing in database activity....not programming but design, analysis and mining.
Let me know if you are ever coming to town. We have some great rides here.

Hi Russ, ah, you aren't that old, trust me! I don't know how old the oldest member is, but there are several in their seventies, and many more close to that age :) .
Welcome to BF!

You may have seen me! I have ridden a number of times during the Rams games. I love asking the dejected exiters what the score is. (Cruel I know :-)).
The rides along the river are wonderful. They redid most of the trail last year so it is smooth sailing. You can actually go all the way to Pierre Marquette State Park and make it a cool century or just go to the locks on the Mississippi for a cool 50 miles.
Anyway you do it, it is a wonderful ride.
Russ
