it sucked out there today.
first two runs were total ice. sat on an icicle on the chair lift which melted and soaked my ski pants. Runs three and four the sleet was falling so hard it felt like a million pellet guns nailing you in the face (but it skied good) , and the fifth run was all the way to the parking lot (yes, we cut some rope- our bad)- 3 inch breakable crust all the way down.
Then there was a frickin 5 mile traffic jam getting out of there.
I was hoping for the powder repeat like three years ago after the epic rains. oh well...
