In my fine tradition of scooping the real media, here's what will be officially announced tomorrow (Wednesday) morning in Jefferson City for those that can't wait:

If I make it to Branson, I just want to see Andy Williams' show.

I'm keeping my September open this year for this event. Missed it last year.

Steephill, great website and thanks for all the info. What do you think are the chances that the Colorado Stage will really happen? If I remember, they built it up a lot a few years ago and then canceled it due to lack of sponsorship.

I really enjoyed the race last year. I got to see two stages [KC and St. Louis] as I was living in KC at the time. Seems unlikely I'll get to fly in this year, but you can be I'll be watching online!

It's part of the 2008 USA Pro Cycling Tour (http://www.steephill.tv/2007/usa-cycling-pro-tour/) this year so I'm assuming USA Cycling has done due-diligence. I met briefly with them at Interbike where they handed out a hat. Better to hand out some good details before giving away merchandise imo.
This is all that's available on the internet about the event so far: http://www.vvf.org/vvf/info/events.athletic.cycle.aspx
