Remember that Seinfeld episode? Turns out someone in the academic world decided to test whether there's any problem from double-dipping your chips in the dip:

I don't have to worry, I never use chips, I only use my fingers, and I always clean my fingers good with my tongue be for I dip again, so no worrys : ).... So if you guys ever invite me over for dip? You know I'm good.

Yay. I'm double-dippin' from now on!

I might even let the kids double-dip.... nah!
