Mountain Biking - Handling problems

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I just swapped a Syncros riser for a new Easton Monkey lite bar...the ML is wider....I now find that the ride is "sketchy",,,,tends to skip around....I am not comfortable and my steering is now too wide...find myself in the outside bushes alot......anyone have insight into this whole thing?
well if its not better than use your old bars, and sell those if you want *shrug*

I don't know much about carbon bars but can you cut them down shorter like your old ones?
