If you read the service manuals for cateye and L&M, you'll see that they both warn that they will probably interfer with each other. L&M even goes so far as to say, just ride and welcome the night, i.e., you don't need to use your expensive cyclometer.
It is possible to use both with normal functioning. This setup works for me:
1. cyclometer and Arc light on performance bar extender.
2. cyclometer is second from the left and extended with only slight tilt
3. Headlight is on far left side.
4. cyclometer is less than one full finger from the light and is about 4 or 5 oclock below the light.
Anyway, if anyone was having interference problems. Try my setup and see if it also works for you.
