Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Comfortable CHEAP (emphasis on cheap) saddle?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
As the time spent on my trainer increases, the more we (gf + i) realize the saddle on our trainer bike is crappy (the bike is an old fuji something or other with downtube shifters and prety low-end components; works great for the trainer, but sucks to sit on).
it's even uncomfortable during thirty minute workouts.
Does anyone know of a sub-$30 saddle that's comfy enough for trainer-only use? 45minute MAX time on it, so it probably won't take much.
I was looking at the Selle San Marco Mercuri Fusion 2 which i can get for $20. Anyone know anything about it?

A friend of mine bought a red one from Nashbar as a temp solution until he can save some money to replace a broken brooks saddle. He's only had it for a week or so, but told me today on a ride it actually felt better than he thought it would for the money. It isn't super plush or anything. For what its worth, it was kinda cheap looking (but it is CHEAP so....) I thought the red was a bit electric for my taste (watch out for the yellow, you may need to train with shades on!)
Sounds promising, thanks.
I have that yellow saddle on my trainer right now. It's better than I expected. I did a couple hours on the trainer the other day and didn't suffer (at least not from the saddle).
On another bike I have the Performance Forte Classic which I picked up for $30. It's better.

If you are in Philly you probably have a lot of LBS's in your area. You might be shocked to see what they have in trade ins or open stock. I have purchased 2 saddles of misc. open stock that have been mounted once and traded in for very good prices here in NYC. I got a $100 WTB Laser V saddle for $40 last year when the model was still selling at full retail online. I know it's a pain to run around, but this way you can see it first (not that seeing ever tells you how it will ride, but it's one step better than a photo online)
i was goign to suggest a used mountain bike saddle from you lbs since you are on the trainer
