Hey, I'm in the market for a new computer for my new bike. I am wondering if anyone has had experience with both of these computers and some pro's/cons of each.
one concern i have for the Turbo is the front sensor for speed.. i have pretty tight clearance on the blade style fork as you can kinda see in this pic. (the computer mounted is an old astrale that didn't work)

What do you mean tight fork clearance? The sensor does not have to be between the spoke and the fork. Please explain your concern.
I personally have elected to stick with wired and have an Astrale 8 that I have not had one single malfunction in over a year of use. That is the way I like it. It would be nice not to have to deal with wires. But there seem to be lots of interference issues with power lines, traffic loops, and I ride at night so I have lights. For now it is wired for me.

If the Turbo2 doesn't fit in front, get the Astrale 8. The speed sensor is on the back wheel. I've had the Turbo, gave an Astrale 8 to my SO, and presently use a Strada Cadence. I personally like the Cateyes better.

I went for the cheaper of the 2 options.. LBS had the Turbo on clearance and i had a extra 10% off coupon. If i hate it then it'll go on CL and i'll find an Astrale to use instead.
for the 1st response.. i didn't think about not having the sensor right inside.. i'll find a way to have it in the front or back so it doesn't hit
Edit: Turbo is going back.. the magnet hits the zip ties when the sensor is lined up so that it reads the speed.. Astrale here I come
