Right so I was wondering what the community thoughts were between these two. Like in a fight who would win... or possibly a spelling-bee? <-Cute

I own one of the TK2's that I've not even had the chance to assemble and I have the chance to snag a T1 for less than $800. So, I'm seeing that the prices are similar which is Ace's?

Ughh ye know though, that Trek isn't the prettiest lady in the room is she?

If you already have a TK2, why complicate things? Put it together, ride it, be happy.

I'd take the TK2 over the Trek anyway, put that together and have a blast!

Oh so true! Yet I've known a few of the ugly one's to be far better rides. ;p
Yeah we're still talking about bikes.

Aye, I think I just needed to hear it from more than one source.
I've not even seen my new bike, but for pictures to confirm that there was no shipping damage.

Oh man I'm hard up to hold a spanner and feel my feet spinning on something other than a crummy exercise bike or my mates single speed.

Right, "Waaaahhhhhhh" is clearly what I meant to say. Sorry to bother.

GET THEM BOTH. I rode a t1 around a parking lot a year ago, it was okay- it felt a little more dainty and twitchier than the cannondale track (04 not the nicer 90's ones) I had at the time so if you've ridden one of those that could be a comparison; but it was only a parking lot ride so I don't have much else to say about it.

The TK2 I have no input on since I've never been on one :(

It's as simple as that huh? Was anyone here a child of the 80's and do you remember those electronic learning modules? They had a programme for English grammar, spelling, etc. There was also one for "more than less than." It would start up and a robot voice would speak out, "More tHAn LesS tHAn LeVEl 1." I loved that little robot man, I loved him.

that trek is ugly. i don't like the top tube.

with that said if you already own the felt, assemble it and ride the schit out of it.

i liked the felt a lot when I saw it, but I didn't test ride it because there was a ton of snow on the ground that day.

Really, the more I look at the two bikes the less I like the Trek. It has a few selling points on the Felt, but at the end of the day I don't mind throwing a few things on to a better looking bike. I think I just havn't had a chance to know the gal through any more than pictures. So, I'll put it all together when I'm back on the 10th and provide a proper ride report and pics. Thanks for helping me to see the light bhoys and ladies. The Felt is just too good looking to not be the choice here.

Well, I've never ridden either, BUT every Felt road bike I've ridden has been nicer than every Trek. So...
