I just had a heck of a time removing [cutting] the seatpost on my Ross Gran Tour II. I thought it was stuck due to rust. Come to find out that the previous owner had the wrong size forced into the seat tube. I'm gonna have to get some 400 grit [or similar] sandpaper to take care of the markings left from the hacksaw blade. I need to know what size seatpost to get. I know it's smaller than 27.2 [mm] because I already tried that size with the ears on the seat lug still spread apart. Any information and/or advice will be greatly appreciated.

I've got a Gran Tour. It has a 25.6 seatpost on it. I had to end up getting this one for mine.

I think it's actually for a BMX bike but fits really well.

Hey brandenjs. Thanks for the information. I'm actually looking at Kalloy seatpost. They have a bigger variety. Nice Ross by the way.:D

Thanks, it's a little tall for me but I'm pretty comfortable on it. I'll tell you before someone else does..Pic's are required on the C&V in case you did'nt know..I'd like to see the Gran Tour II.
