I wonder what would happen if you tried filling them from the local garage air-hose ;)

Nothing! Literally! Most forks require air pressures in the 150 p.s.i. range. Most garages only turn their compressors up to 90-100 p.s.i., so it would only pump up the forks about 1/2 way!

hmmmmi am actually more confused....so does that mean it uses a schrader valve? or something really different...

Just remember, you will need a shock pump if you do get it.
