Registration has opened for the 2008 Seacoast Safari benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation!

The ride is a two day, 150 mile (there is also a 60 mile route) ride from Newburyport, MA to Biddeford, ME and back. Its a beautiful route, hugging the New England coastline all the way.

The minimum fundraising is a LOW $250. That is an amazing deal for a two day, fully supported ride, including overnight, food, etc.

CF is a genetic disease affecting CF is a life-threatening genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive systems of tens of thousands of children and young adults. (Myself included).

When the CF Foundation was started in 1955 by a group of parents, those with CF rarely lived long enough to attend their first day of school. Today, thanks to the commitment of our volunteers and donors who help support the CF Foundation's programs, the median survival age extends into the mid 30s. Over the years, the CF Foundation has built a strong reputation based on providing access to specialized care and on fueling major scientific progress, combined with its efficiency at putting every dollar to work.

Good opportunity for a Bump.

Is there any limitation on the amount of cyclists for this event?

Thanks for the bump!

At the moment there is no limit to the number of riders... if rider recruitment exceeds our wildest expectations, we may need to revisit this later, but at the moment, we have tons of room on the ride.

I realize I didn't put the date in my original post (although it is on the website) - it is July 19-20 2008.

Hope you can make it. It really is a phenomenal ride, and a great cause.

Chris
