So did I. I have seen the man in person in Pau during this year's tour (and the ONCE team bus.. WOW, what a gig, wonder what ONCE is going to do with that bus once they dissolve, that would be kick ass, to show up at rides with that bus, wouldn't it??? It's got a shower, a kitchen, a conference area, bucket seats, etc..
Anyway, what effect did Saiz ejection have to do with the TT, do you think that it had a big effect on Nozal's explosion? or none at all. Like mentioned on the news site, the TT had a real steep first section that offered not much of a recovery zone except for a short level, false flat section in the middle before going back up in the end. Perhaps the lack of a teammate to pace him had a greater effect than the lack of the head director. Nozal was able to cut his loses on all the Mtn stages because he had Serrano or at least the pack to help pace him up the hill.

Really, I thought it was kinda sad and pathetic. I'm sure the man was at his wits end, what with the team folding yet still having victory within their grasp.
Still, the drama of this, Heras' win and Petacchi seemed to liven the race back up.
