had a little electrical fire today. on a ride cant say it was funny ok maybe a little. i have been using computer grade plugs for years with no problems there cheap and available everywhere. problem now is
some brands have really thin wire and cant take the amps. im thinking its time to try other connectors.

what connectors do you use please do share ?

ill give ya a real good tip karma i do alot of wire work and the wire you find in old tv set is the best man its made to handle high amps and it is usually tinned stranded copper wire that never corrodes like normal stranded copper wire this gear is the best around man and it comes out of the tv good as new,you will only find it in those older big tv sets.forget any computer wire too thin.you will find many size strands too in tv set,i never buy wire.valve radio wire is good to just leave the radios for me haaaaaaa, that old wire is better than any new stuff around

im alright but i got some nasty burns from pulling at red hot wires both hands, the fuse finally blew but it took out a lot of wire before it did :(

i think i may purchase a pingy mini-fire extinguisher there as small as a hand grenade easy to put in a side bag :)

LOL! I can see it now.

You get another fire there and jump off your bike in the middle of a populated area. You grab your bag and whip out a red grenade and people go screaming all over the place. You pull the pin and spray the bike.....then the police come to you.

LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On a serious noth though.....get those hands looked at.....just in case. 2nd degree it looks like.

No fires since right? (I know this is an old thread)

What gage wire are you using now? I'm using 18gage I think, or 16 hmmm... I don't need a fire to ruin my ride.
