View Full Version : List Out your favorite 3 movies
I saw the Magnificent Seven a long time ago, and then again recently. Which meant that I had to see Seven Samurai when it was on TCM recently.
Both are wonderful for what they are. I guess some might consider the Magnificent Seven a rip-off, but I think it's a great retelling.

No Country for Old Men - my new favorite
Seven - my old favorite for a long time
I have no idea what my third favorite is...
Wait, my third favorite movie is now The Dark Knight. That movie is awsome and the Joker is insane.
Can anyone tell that I like dark and/or disturbing movies?

+1. From the director who gave us The Great Escape and a great-but-little-known movie, Bad Day at Black Rock (BTW, it isn't a western) with Spencer Tracy, Robert Ryan, Lee Marvin, Walter Brennan, Ernest Borgnine, among others.

I hate* car chases. I won't sit through one. But that chase scene in Ronin had me on the edge of my seat. Loved it when he put the seat belt on. Perfect stress relief before they revved me up again.
