Hey, I found it! This (http://www.virtualcycling.org/Application%20directory/VCF2007/Default.aspx) really is VC:

Now you can practice taking the lane, or curbhugging in complete safety. :D

The lady in the photo should be further to the left.

You'd never be able to ride in the VC style on that - no mirrors. How do you check to make sure traffic is slowing down for you?

So you couldn't help yourself.... :D

How long do you think this string will get?

I know, I know... I promised myself that I would stay out of the other thread, but had an overbearing urge to add something meaningful to the VC debate.

Where is her helmet? What happens if she has a spell and falls off her Virtual Bike? Oh the horror!

You'd to buy another plasma TV to put behind you.

Wouldn't that be a shame.

It's OK it will be classified as just another bike accident... of course then it will fulfill the statistical void of street cycling verses trainer cycling, and help show just how dangerous not cycling in the street can be, thus further helping define that the only safe place to ride is right in the middle of the street, period.

Doncha know that almost all accidents happen to people who were not riding in the appropriate VC manner at the time of the accident [Note: the "appropriate VC manner" can always be post hoc accident altered/modified to fit the accident scenario]. IAW this method of post hoc analysis used by the VC Guru and starry eyed acolytes, anyone who has an accident of any kind was not riding in a vehicular manner and is not considered a member of the chimeric Vehicular Cyclist Club. Hence the Club maintains the purity of its members' alleged "Safety Record." All riders are considered VC by the VC data manipulators for Safety Record purposes until they have an accident, then they are not considered VC riders. The trainer rider is VC until she falls off the trainer, then she is not

...AND if she survives the fall off her trainer she can proudly claim that The Helmet Saved My Life!.

Until she falls off. At that point she would be at the left position that an Educated Vehicular Cyclist would have known (at least after the fall) to avoid.
