stupid, i shouldn't have posted a thread here. Thanks sanchEz.
I would keep it here, maybe a lurker from Toronto will see it. As I said in the other thread, I will keep my eyes peeled. The usual places to check are Uncle Jacobs and Igors and there are a couple of pawn shops in the 'hood, that one by Queen and Dufferin comes to mind, he sells bikes.
We will be vigilant about checking around for it ;)

You might want to investigate this:
http://toronto.craigslist.ca/tor/bik/563561139.html
Apologies, of course, to the Craigslister if this is a legitimate sale.

Wow, if that's his bike that's pretty gutsy of the thief-
"Have to leave town looking for a quick sale", sounds suspicious enough.

Not if you're an idiot. Let A=Idiots and B=Craigslist users. P(A∩B) ~=1.

dude that's your bike, homie doesn't know the size of his own frame/?
We better get some reports about this fromn the toronto justice squad
call the cops now.
or at least "make him an offer" to keep him occupied.

Someones got jokes:
"Make me an offer. Have to leave town and looking for a quick sale."
Had to be someone in this very room.

hey 'nuther lurker here...i live just south of the junction...let me know if you want me to scout him out.
or another thing to consider...is calling 11 Division which is just blocks away. call them ahead and then go see him about the bike...if it's yours decline to buy then ring the cop shop who should arrive within minutes.
Does anyone know if craigslist logs ip addresses? I was curious as to whether or not the poster's ip address would be available in the event he doesn't respond, but the authorities decide to investigate further.
As per Rah Rah, it's a little too perfect of an ad. We had one similar pop up when another guys bike took a walk. Some joker man undoubtedly.
Craigslist will release email addresses of the posters if it's subpoenaed. And while the cops may do nothing, if they find it incidentally doing something else, at least they'll know who to call rather than putting it on ebay.

Call the cops. Now. Hesitation will cost you your bike.

called the cops and filed a report, so at least it's on file. about the craigslist thing, they told me to wait for reply and then call them. but he hasn't called or emailed so......i don't know. it was stolen AT MY HOUSE, that is honestly a big part of my anger.

Is this the email you received?
Hi,
Thanks for the inquiry. The bike is still for sale but I will have to meet you tonight.
I will be eating a Vesuvio's Pizza tonight at 8 PM (3010 Dundas Street West). I will be in a blue jacket with a red hoodie and jeans. Meet me in front.
Price is negotiable but it has to be done in cash.
Clownboat, PM me if you need some help....I still think it might be a joke but you never know....

OK, back to square 1.
People probably need better pics of the bike. The small one at the beginning of the thread won't help so much. The more details are visible, the better.
