I'll be in Miami Feb 8-11 for Anti-Sweatshop conference

Hey all,

I'm over here in California and I'll be heading on over to Miami this upcoming weekend (Feb. 8,9,10) for the United Student Against Sweatshops conference at the University of Miami. I'm looking for things to do at night near the university. I also really want to take a (bike) trip out to see the Everglades.
I also am in need of housing accommodation for Sunday night, as I booked the cheaper return flight on Monday instead of Sunday. I would love to not have to stay in a hostel or hotel, and I would be happy to buy you some beer.

I'm a bit out from Miami, so I can't help you there, but I definitely wouldn't count on staying in any hostels down there. I have a few friends that drove a guy around to a few different ones, and none of them would let him stay because he wasn't an international traveller. He lost his home in Katrina too, and none of them would help him out. Really weird.
