I've never weighed my fixers, but they each weigh noticably more than my fully equipped road bike.

I've never weighed my fixie either. I get a kick of building stuff on the cheap, so saving weight hasn't ever been a huge issue for me. Durability is usually a bigger concern.
Ditto on it being a little chunkier than my braked & geared road bikes (even with the dust they have been collecting)

My Cyclocross (set up with road tires) that I consider my "roadie" fully equipped and wit a loaded seat bag weighs in at ~23.5lbs. My fixie when fully stripped weighs in at ~27lbs. I can only imagine what it weighed before I took all the crap off of it.

i've never weighed any of my bikes...

i'd say they all weigh about the same, except my BMX, which weighs in somewhere in the upper 30s.

the rest of my bikes are in the lower 20s/upper 10s. my "fancy" fixed gear weighs a little less than my pinarello though.

my fixed conversion weighs about 22 lbs... it has a brake and fenders, and the frame is really heavy.

rev.chuck....didnt know you rode trials too, what kinda bike is it? have any pics of it?

i ride on my jamis eureka 12" XC frame (its a single speed too!), i cant afford a real stock trials frame!! the upside of using an XC frame is the low weight, but i feel like im going to break it...

legalize-it and rev. chuck: i ride trials as well...

i have an old ross aluminum mountain bike frame, but it's tiny. with rigid forks...it's set up pretty nice...i like it anyway.

My bike weighs hella a lot. Seriously like at least twenty-five pounds. She is my steed of solid steel. Even God itself couldn't break the Tank.

Wow, that's not a whole lot less than my scrounge Raleigh. W/pedals, clips and straps, fenders, bottle, cage, pump, multi tool, patch kit, blinkies, patch kit, spare, first aid kit and a home made enery bar it checks in at just under 23 lb. And yeah, I nearly always carry all that crap, mostly cuz I never know when I'll get out of work, plus I never know when something on this thing I built for $65 is gonna give out, though it ain't happened yet. Plus I just put the fenders on a couple weeks ago when it rained every day. Striped down to its skivies my ride is about 19lb.

I'm not exactly a weight weenie, but I'm small enough to feel what a few extra pounds can do.
