Under 15 pounds as pictured. Still have to swap the SS pedals for the Ti currently on my TCR and dial in the bar position, which will remove most of the spacers. At races I will use my reynolds DV46 w/red cassette, good for another half pound off.

Nice! How do you like the crank?
Nice! How do you like the crank?
I like them so far. Not sure what to look for, I didn't have any problems with the crank on my TCR. The only thing is that this is 53/39 and my TCR was 50/34 so it will be interesting on long/steep climbs, but I'd been meaning to switch for a while anyway.

That crank has a 110/130 BCD swappable spider, doesn't it?

Yes, I believe it does. I plan to replace the spider with the Quarq Cinqo (http://www.quarq.us/Spiders/CinQo.html) when it comes out.

very nice! how do you like the red?
very nice! how do you like the red?
Its very nice, but I spent about 2 hours last night trying to get the cassette onto my reynolds. I realized once I started having to push hard that it may be difficult to get it off, and with it only halfway on I confirmed it, and spent a long time trying to work it off. Once I finally got it off, I realized that it was because the splines were marred by previous cassettes that been on there, and the red cassette had a cylinder with extremely tight tolerances that was getting stuck. I got out the dremel and ground down the damage on the splines, and then was finally able to slip on the cassette. It still required a bit of pressure to get on but nothing excessive. That's on my race wheel, in the picture is just the plain old Force/Rival cassette...
very nice!! Would it be lighter and faster with sewups?:D

Yes. I have a set of Reynolds DV46 tubulars with a red cassette for races.
This build is gorgeous - I hope it takes you to more podium finishes.
Hi umd,
Looks very good. :)
You might want to rotate the bars down a bit (and, of course move the brifters up).

Nice looking bike, I love the color. I think that you might need a new camera to go with it!

I like the bars where they are; I prefer a flat profile on the top and although I realize that the drop angle is not ideal, that is a sacrifice I am willing to make. I'll probably end up getting new bars anyway because I don't like the ergo bend.

I don't understand the comment about the camera...
prolly nothing wrong with the camera, just use the macro (flower) function for close up pictures, and don't zoom in. You'll see the difference!! So good that you will see every spec of dust with the right lighting.

Sorry, I meant it as a joke. Fun getting new toys, etc. Your bike photos always look great.
Here it is with the Reynolds & Red Cassette, I have not weighed this configuration but should be skirting 14...

What size are you running?
slap on some Zipp stickers...

54
Did you do the build and if so did you have any issues routing the brifter cables to the inside as has been reported by a number of people, or did you route them to the outside?

I did it myself, with some help from a friend for all the derailer adjustments. I routed the shifter cables to the inside, and didn't have any problems. My biggest cable routing issue was that the rear brake cable comes to a cable stop on the right side of the frame and then crosses over under the top tube, making the exit from the bars to the stop a rather tight bend. Also, because of the slope of the top tube, the cable is left very exposed and it gets pressure when I put it on my bike rack in the garage.

More pics with the reynolds & red cassette on. Also I moved the spacers above the stem...

That's what I do. I think the pictures are pretty good for a P&S camera...

Your bars are no bueno amigo..
Is that frame BB30?
Its their own proprietary BB shell; whether it coincides with BB30 I couldn't say...
Wow - looks amazing!! Great job on it, and fabulous choice of components!

I believe it is BB30. You can run a SI crank!!
