here's my new toy... i just bought it today... http://www.pbase.com/image/21818206/original ... 2004 Allez Sport... i was about to buy a 2003 Allez from a close by store but the one on my size is on layaway... so i had to drive 80 miles to get this one... no one else has the 2003 anymore... and i figured i might as well pay $70 extra considering the 2003's are at closeout at about $750... the frame is very comfortable and yet it can climb... although the seat is pretty crappy, i only rode it for 20 miles and i can already feel it... another gripe is the over size middle of the handlebar... i can't even put my Specialized computer on it... the store person had to peel back the tape and the gel so the computer would be around the skinny part... i really like how the black spokes look... although everyone says that these wheels are pretty bad... i'm just gonna enjoy it while it works...

hey allgoo19... the bike is a 54 cm... i think i figured out why Specialized made the middle part of the handle bar so think... i think it's because so it will be leveled with the thick gel padded tape... i guess aesthetic purposes...
Great bike man! I have a 2002 Allez. You are right about the saddle. It is crap! My first ride was like 12 miles; I just couldn't take the pain much longer. I got myself a new one, by Trek, with lots of gel. I advise you do the same. Don't wait for too long and go back to lbs and tell them about the problem, they most likely will do and exchange with your old saddle for free.
