aloha from Seal Beach area...about a year and half on the road and loving it!! on flat days (no surf) i would see the roadies going by...and i needed to give it a try. burned up my first bike and just picked up my second bike. i have been told i am lucky that i found a buyer so quick. turns out, as i did charity fun rides during the summer, my co-workers got interested and now they are out there with me (one guy bought my 1st bike from me). stumbled across Bike Forums and am happy to join.

peace:D

Hi tcinoc, that's wonderful that you encouraged your co-workers into joining you! What bike have you got now?

I started off with a Trek Pilot. I was told it was a great entry level bike. I really enjoyed it. So when Trek came out with the new Madone and knowing that I was loving this sport....I started saving my pennies. I picked up the 5.5. Just picked it up a few days ago. Getting it dialed in now.

It is kinda cool with co-workers joining in to. Recruited 5 over the summer and I think I just picked up two more this last week. One is an acomplished tri-athlete that just moved out here...but all the others are newbies. Imagine us rolling down the road...lol
