Electronics, Lighting, & Gadgets - Help with Polar S725X

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Not sure if this is the right place to post, but here goes. I have a Polar S725X that I use both as HRM and cyclometer. Have cadence and speed sensors as well. Going to Tuscon for a cycling camp in March, want to be able to monitor my information, and would like to be able to download daily ride(s) somehow without having to drag along a laptop to keep the info. I have a Palm Treo 650 with a 1Gig SD card for my cell phone. It has an IR port on it. Does anyone know if it's possible to sync up the Polar's IR port with the Treo, or will I be forced to bring the boat anchor (laptop) along if I want to accomplish this? Alternative solutions / suggestions are welcome.

Set the Recording Rate to something like 15 or 60 seconds and you should have enough memory for a couple of weeks.
5 Second rate: w/ Speed, Altitude and Cadence: 9 hours
15 Second rate: w/ Speed, Altitude and Cadence: 26 hours
60 Second rate: w/ Speed, Altitude and Cadence: 99 hours
